Queen of skulls.

I recently received the most amazing bodysuit in the post. I've had my eye on it for a while, when the lovely 'Freak Of Nature' picked me as one of their winners, I got a complementary one sent to me and I adore it! I was quick to pick an outfit and try it on with everything, although this was my favourite outfit of all:

How amazing is this bodysuit seriously!? Its like a stretchy shiney nylon material and has the most amazing pattern on. Luckily it was pretty mild outside and I was able to blog this outfit without freezing! But then I thought, seen as the weather is changing what can I wear with this body to make it a little more 'winter' esque..

It's not even a secret that I love the whole Tim Burton/Cruel intentions fashion styles, so this is like a little of both? I thought what better way to avoid getting cold and hiding my bra straps on the super low back than this little mesh sweater.
Such a statement piece and great to have in your wardrobe.

How would you wear it? Which do you prefer? Let me know by commenting on this post or giving me a tweet/Instagram comment @trendofdays :)
Thank you to Nessa at Freak Of Nature for this amazing bodysuit entering my life, I hope to meet her in the future and check out her personal wardrobe because that looks equally as amazing!

Nineties vibes.

I'm back! After a hectic few days of work, x-mas shopping and organising myself and my blog! Phew.
Soo, as you may have seen me mention a good few times, a lovely company called 'Vulgar', I recently went to their store opening and met some awesome people, if you haven't already you should check them out in the Forum Sheffield for all things weird and wonderful. If your not lucky enough to live close enough to get to the store you can visit them on the ASOS Marketplace.
The lovely owners were nice enough to make me a cute bloggers bag of goodies up :) which had some awesome treats inside. I have to say my favourite item in the bag was this:

Reppin' my oversized Vulgar logo tee with a original 90's tartan kilt and chunky coltrane boots. I am obsessed with the whole 90's vibe at the moment. I also picked this amazing necklace up in the Topshop sale for a whole £2,50! Amazing to say I wanted it when it was £14.00! So yes, this is such a wearable and versatile piece that you can team up with anything. I realise the light isn't great on these pictures so I have shot a close up of the top for you to see :)
Cute! I will definitely be wearing this, erm all of the time! I absolutely Love it, definite fan girl in the house guys!
You can find a huge range of oversized vintage tees like this one in store or online.
Vulgar have recently been voted number one on the ASOS Marketplace and are quickly taking over the wardrobes of girls and guys worldwide.
Keep an eye out for me wearing some of my other amazing garms from them.
I just want to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to Amber & Liam.

Leather and Bears.

I am a huge fan of supporting individual companies. Even better when I get to meet them and have a chat about their ideas. I was lucky enough to meet up with the lovely new and up coming Sheffield based brand The Bears The Bears.
Now can I just be the first to say their range is not only completely adorable, it is unique and hand drawn by the lovely Lucy. I am a sucker for a cute and individual graphic tee, so this company really caught my eye!

Here I am wearing one of the lovely T-shirts. I absolutely love the skinny fit of the piece, really flattering and completely wearable with absolutely everything! Here I am wearing a ladies size Medium.
I chose to wear the t shirt in a casual and quirky way, adding a little cute winter hat (with bear ears ;) just for the nice little combination) and adding one of my favourite trends faux leather.
The good thing about this top is that you can really layer it for those cold Autumn days.
Yes! I know what you are thinking.. how whacky and cute is this!? I absolutely Love it. This will be a much loved item in my wardrobe leading me into Winter, in style.
I added a chunky statement necklace to really dress up this crazy cute tee, not that it needs the accessories because the alternative design speaks for itself.

A full range of stock is now available in the 'The Birds Yard' located in Sheffield :)
This company is currently battling it out to take place in there so help them out by giving them a vote:
Completely unique, affordable and made with Love.
Check out the amazing website, for phone cases, clothing & cards.
Thank you to @thebearsthebears for my lovely t-shirts and the chance to work alongside them.

How to style a kimono in Autumn.

One of my favourite trends that made a come back this year is the kimono. Cute, practical and a real statement piece.. How about when the weathers freezing and it's just not warm enough :(?
I recently received a beautiful handmade kimono in the post from the lovely One Of None.
The idea behind this company is that, everything is individual and a 'one off' piece. Which I absolutely love, it's great knowing that nobody else will be walking the streets of Sheffield in this amazing statement piece. It arrived in the post one morning before I went to work, the first thing I did was prance around the house in it. I am in Love with it!
The lovely Amber also added a really nice note inside 'To the queen of Halloween' this is why we get along so well.

Amazing isn't it! I don't even want to take it off! I absolutely adore the colours and the style and the pattern and yes the whole piece! The kimono is a lovely thin material, so it flows so nicely. I will be wearing this all the way through A/W by styling it with long sleeve dresses and roll neck tops, layering up for the cold weather. I added a matching beanie hat to the outfit to make it a little more 'street style'.
You should definitely go check out One Of None, for something to really turn heads! So here is a big thank you to the Lovely Amber & Heidi @ One Of None.

Formal affairs

Wow! I have had a busy day today. I was meeting two lovely Sheffield based companies to have a chat and collect two packages of lovely blogger mail :) (Lucky lady) I know! Keep posted as I will be doing posts on these with in the next few days (I have off of work) excited for styling everything! (Sneak peaks on my Twitter & Instagram @trendofdays)
It was chilly today and I wanted to wear something weather worthy but formal:

I forgot the last time I wore plain leggings, these are wet look but as plain as I get ;)
I ended up chucking this outfit together and actually really liking it, laid back vibes.
My one must have this AW13 is a faux fur collar, I have worn this now for two years and you can make even the oldest of coats, have a new image.
I am obsessed with layering cute shirts/dresses with fluffy chunky jumpers this year, snug and practical.

Snow White.

I've actually started my Christmas shopping! Wahoo, organised me? Well semi organised. So whilst I was looking at little surprise gifts for people, I came across the most amazing top! I cheated and threw it in to my basket, okay.. I know, I know I shouldn't be buying for myself but I deserved it for fighting off the herds of shoppers ;)
Cheeky little purchase and it was super cheap too, always a bonus!

So, sorry about the poor quality pics, the weather was so strange today. If you live in the UK they have been forecasting snow!? Crazy.
So yes this is the t-shirt, so cute and it's one of my favourite things ever.. Disney!
Gotta rep the dark haired princess too ;)!
I haven't worn dance pants in forever, I've decided I'm bringing them back.
I added a little faux fur and gold to the outfit and boom, casual shopping outfit sorted.

Bowler hat: Topshop.
Lipstick: (shockingly enough) MAC Ruby Woo.
T-shirt: Primark.
Belt: Vintage Moshino.
Dance pants: Glamorous.
Coat: Phase Eight.
Boots: Topshop.

Thanks for the support and love from everybody, it means a lot.

Unexpected layering.

I recently did another photo shoot with the lovely We Could Forever. I Love the surprise I get when I arrive and I have no idea what I'm wearing. I always absolutely Love the outfits that I end up wearing and have to stop myself snapping them all up for my wardrobe collection.
This AW13 I am really into layering, as are this lovely ASOS Boutique.  Not just layering your everyday dress and cardigan, but much more creative. It's all about layering your most unexpected patterns and textures, to create a one off individual look. The best part of this is, when your buying vintage clothing it's usually one off pieces...

Excuse my horrendous roots (the sunshine makes them look worse than they are, urgently dialled my hairdresser after seeing this hehe)
How cute does tartan/plaid and lace look in this outfit styled by the lovely Jodie.
We are both a sucker for a clash of patterns and both fell in Love with this little combo.
Dare to mix up your wardrobe this Autumn/Winter.

Pop Art.

I have a little collection of two pieces/coords coming along nicely! I forgot to upload this cutie when I bought it in the sale for just £18 for the set reduced from £34! Ohh yeah, I was going to buy it at full price too but convinced myself not to (I must have been feeling really good that day, or very poor!)
I'm not usually one for wearing much colour, so I have been playing around with my wardrobe and attempting to alternate between the obsession I have for black.

PALE ALERT! Haha, I like to think of it as pale and interesting, so my Mums always said. I love faux fur coats, they seem to match anything. Today was particularly cold, so it came in handy.
I love the clash of colours between the twin set and the leopard print creepers.

Monochrome.

Today, I headed to a vintage fashion fair with my Mumma. I was rushing to get ready this morning, I quickly chucked my outfit together and ended up loving it! Which was good, there's nothing worse than rushing to get ready and hating what your wearing!
I wanted to throw some vintage in to my outfit, but I mixed it up with a logo tee which says 'In Vogue we trust' ohh yes, so true.

I tried Bubble tea for the first time today and I fear it is a new addiction! I have been meaning to try it for ages. Silly me had it cold even though it was freezing walking around today! Luckily I doubled up on faux fur (never real fur!)
I think this skirt is going to get a whole lotta lovin' from me.
Super cute, AW is great for wearing my fave faux fur babies!
p.s yes my ankle socks match the skirt (hehe!)
